Senior Sales & Product Manager, Horticulture

Senior Sales & Product Manager, Horticulture

CE-Line has developed real-time measuring equipment to determine nutrient levels in irrigation and drainage water. With CE-Line equipment, a greenhouse operation can analyse process water multiple times a day. CE-Line technology has already been successfully introduced in horticulture and is applicable to other industries as well. The focus is on nutrients for which reagents have been developed. Other parameters, including various fatty acids, are currently in development. By performing accurate and reliable on-site analyses, drip water can be adjusted much faster and continuously, ensuring plants receive exactly what they need, boosting yields.

CE-Line continues to develop for other sectors based on customer needs. CE-Line is a growing company and now has several dealers/installers worldwide. To continue this strategic growth and maintain strong relationships with dealers and customers, we are looking to strengthen our team. International growth will first be pursued in North America and Asia.

In this role, you will work closely within a dynamic team, acting as a key link between dealers, customers, potential clients, and CE-Line’s specialists

Function

Achieving growth by expanding the dealer network and providing in-depth support to end customers.

  • Actively maintain relationships with existing and new contacts in the (inter)national high-tech greenhouse sector, focusing on dealers and growers.
  • Explain the CE-Line technology at a high level and review the conditions for implementation.
  • Identify new business opportunities based on market developments and collaborate with management to draft contracts.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for dealers, installers, and end-users.
  • Attend (inter)national trade fairs, represent CE-Line at events, and assist in organizing them.
  • Act as a natural connector and pioneer and keep a close eye on innovations in the greenhouse industry.
  • Provide critical input, collaborate closely, and participate in internal and external meetings.
  • Report directly to the Managing Director.

Profile

A communicative sales professional with knowledge of greenhouse horticulture and a passion for nutrient and water technology.

Job requirements

  • A completed BSc/MSc degree and knowledge of Horticulture, Plant Science, Horticultural Technology, Agribusiness, or a comparable field, or equivalent level obtained through work experience and practical courses.
  • Knowledge and understanding of water technology and/or the role of nutrients in crops is a plus.
  • At least 3 years of relevant and proven work experience in sales within the horticulture, water technology sectors or other technics.
  • You know how to communicate with different stakeholders in the market, both strategically and operationally.
  • You speak the language of the industry.
  • Driven and motivated to help the scale-up reach maturity together.
  • Willingness to travel 5 to 10 times per year as required by the job.

  • Proficient in both spoken and written English. Knowledge of Dutch, Spanish, French, or German is an advantage.
  • Capable of handling long-term acquisition processes.

Location

Hybrid, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office in Emmeloord (Flevoland) and the rest working from home.
